Shared hosting and dedicated hosting are two different types of web hosting services that provide varying levels of resources and control to Timelabs customer. Here are the key differences between shared hosting and dedicated hosting:

Resource Allocation:

Shared Hosting: In shared hosting, multiple Timelabs accounts are hosted on a single server, and resources such as CPU, memory, and bandwidth are shared among all the Timelabs accounts. Each HRMS portal gets a portion of the server's resources, but the overall resources are limited.

Dedicated Hosting: In dedicated hosting, an entire server is dedicated to your Timelabs account. All the server resources are exclusively allocated to your Timelabs HRMS portal, providing higher performance and greater control over resource utilization.

Performance and Scalability:

Shared Hosting: Shared hosting can be cost-effective, but since resources are shared among multiple Timelabs accounts, the performance may be affected if one Timelabs portal experiences high traffic or resource usage. It may also have limitations on scalability since you are limited to the shared resources of the server.

Dedicated Hosting: With dedicated hosting, you have full access to the server's resources, resulting in better performance and scalability. It is suitable for a HRMS portal with high traffic or resource-intensive processes that require substantial computing power.

Control and Customization:

Shared Hosting: Server is managed and maintained by Timelabs team and you don’t have any access to Server. You have access to a control and configure your Timelabs portal only.

Dedicated Hosting: Dedicated hosting provides complete control over the server. You can have RDP access to your software and customize the application inside the server. This level of control allows for greater flexibility and customization.

Cost:

Shared Hosting: Shared hosting is generally more affordable since the cost is shared among multiple customers. It is a cost-effective option for small Timelabs accounts or businesses with low to moderate traffic.

Dedicated Hosting: Dedicated hosting is more expensive due to the exclusive use of server resources. It is typically chosen for a large HRMS account, enterprises, or businesses with high traffic and resource requirements.

In summary, shared hosting is suitable for small to medium-sized HRMS account with average traffic, limited resource requirements, and a smaller budget. Dedicated hosting is ideal for high-traffic HRMS account, resource-intensive applications, or websites that require extensive customization and control over server resources.
