Assets Management allows HR to assign, manage and keep track of the company’s assets effectively. To enable the Asset Management option available go the the Payroll - Setup Menu - Configuration - Edit the configuration and enable the Asset Management option from bottom of the page and click “Save".


 


Once enabled, you will be able to see the option in Menu. 

1. Asset Category – The HR user may add as many asset categories from here.  

 

 Enter the name and asset code, then click on "Save" to add a new asset. 

  

You can also edit or delete the existing asset (If not In-Used) for here.   

 
 

2. Asset Sub Category  

 

 

Choose Asset Category, enter the code and name of the sub category and click “Save”. 

 

You can also edit or delete the existing asset categories (If not In-Used) from here.  

 

3. Asset Status 

 

 

This displays the actual condition for an assigned asset. Working and Non-Working asset are the two Asset Status by default created. HR can either edit the existing data or add new one. 

 


 

4. Assets

 

 

All the Assets added will be listed here. HR can add a new asset detail or can also view/edit/delete existing assets.  

 

 Choose the Asset category and sub-category, enter all the mandatory and necessary details and “Save”.  

 

5. Manage Assets
  

 

 
 

You can issue or recover Assets to employees from here. Click on "Issue Asset" to add new.  

 

Follow the below steps. 

 

Once Saved, the details will be seen in “Manage Asset List” with “Issued” as a Status.  

   

You can recover, view, edit and delete issued assets by clicking on the icons seen in the action menu.  

 

For Recovery of Asset – Click on the below icon.  

 

Enter all the necessary details and then “Save” it. 

 

Once Saved, the details will be seen in “Manage Asset List” with “Submitted” as a Status.  


 

This can also be seen to employee when they login into their ESS portals under Self Service - Payroll Module - Asset List.
