Reset ESS password

Question : How do we reset ESS password?

Answer : Password reset can be done in one of two ways.

1. By Employee
2. By System User / Super Admin

A) By Employee

Step 1 - Employee needs to click on the forgot password link on the login page.

Step 2 - Enter Employee Code, DOB in DDMMYYYY format and employee's official or personal email ID available in Timelabs database. After filling all the details click "Submit" button. An OTP will be generated and sent to Employee's email ID. Confirmation message will appear like this:

Step 3 - Employee needs to enter OTP on next screen now:

Step 4 - After entering OTP, employee will be presented to reset password screen where he/she can reset ESS login password easily.

Note:- The employee can also change the password after login. Just click on profile icon and hit 'Change Password' link. 

From next screen enter your existing password and new password and at last click on 'Change Password' button. 

B) By System User / Super Admin

Step 1 - Login into Timelabs and Open Settings -> Reset Password -> All Employees. Here select employee and click on 'Reset Random Pwd' icon.  

Step 2 - Put a check mark if you want to send Random Password to employee via email or via SMS and at last click Submit button. 

A confirmation message will be displayed after the password is successfully reset. The employee will receive the newly generated random password through the selected communication method (email or SMS).
