Create Evaluation Event

Users can create evaluation events on a Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual basis. For Adding a new evaluation Event, please follow the below steps.


Step 1 - Navigate to Evaluations - Evaluation Event and click on "Add Event".



Step 2 - Please fill in the details below.



1) Title : Evaluation Event Name.

2) Evaluation Period : Select the date range when the evaluation should begin and end.

3) Review Dates : Select the date range when the review period should begin and end.

4) Status : Select this to use this evaluation event further.

5) Description : Detailed description of the evaluation event.

6) Show Reviewer's Name : Enable this if you want the employee to view the reviewer's name.

7) Show Previous Reviews : Enable this if you want the employee to view the reviews of the previous reviewer.

8) Show Other Reviewers List : Enable this if you want the employee to view the other reviewer's list.

9) Show Event Instructions : Enable this if you want the employee to view the instructions.

10) Final review/ratings evaluated on - 1) Average of all Ratings 2) Last reviewer's Ratings : The final ratings will be computed using these settings. Whether the calculation should be based on the average of all the reviewer's ratings or should consider only the last reviewer's ratings.

11) Consider Missing review - 1) Skipped / Missed 2) Zero : Based on these settings, the missing reviews will be considered.

For Example - Suppose there are 4 reviewers, out of which only 3 have given the ratings.

Case A - Skipped / Missed : If this option is selected, the final rating will be an average of 3 reviewers.

Case B  - Zero : If this option is selected, the final rating will be an average of 4 reviewers considering the missing review as 0.

12) Default Rating Scale - Select the rating scale.


Once everything is filled up, select "Save".

 

Assign employees to the evaluation Event

Once the Evaluation event is created, the user can add the employees to the evaluation event. Please follow the below steps.

 

Step 1 - Select the evaluation event, in the actions menu, select "Add more employee".



Step 2 - Select the employee from the list and click on "Next".



Step 3 - Select the template type and the template. Set the Self-Assessment last date and assign reviewers.



Please Note - The evaluation will be auto-published if the "Part A (Goals)" ratio is 0. However, if the "Part A (Goals)" ratio is not 0, then you need to manually publish the evaluation. In this case, the employee must add the goals from their ESS portal and the reviewer must approve it then only the HR user can publish the event.
